West 1Q Revenues: $346.8 (+2%) 1Q Earnings: $27.1 million (-15%) Comments: Pharmaceutical Delivery Systems (PDS) sales were up 7% to $94.0 million and Pharmaceutical Packaging Systems (PPS) sales were flat at $252.9 million. R&D costs increased 3% to $10.0 million in the quarter, mostly due to investments in next-generation packaging components and new products.
